Since then, his career has led him to work side-by-side with the most reputable Golf Course Superintendents and club leaders at some of the most elite clubs across the United States.
Tyler has an Executive Certificate in Talent Acquisition from Cornell University, a Bachelor’s in Turfgrass Science from Penn State University, and 20+ years of work experience in the golf and turfgrass industry, including six as Golf Course Superintendent at Sparrows Point Country Club in Baltimore, MD, where he created the first registered apprenticeship program in the country.
Since 2020, Tyler has placed over 200+ professionals in executive and management level roles throughout the United States. He's mentored dozens of future Golf Course Superintendents through his own professional development program. Additionally, Tyler has presented at over 50+ continued education programs throughout the world.
Tyler is a sought-after speaker both regionally and internationally and a frequent contributor to industry publications. He serves on various workforce development committees and has partnered with GCSAA Chapters from New England to the Carolinas and as far west as Washington State.
As a national expert, Tyler works directly with clubs, General Managers, Golf Course Superintendents, and Board Members to help them optimize their organizational and talent acquisition strategy through a combination of workforce and leadership development and consultative services.
